I received a message from this number yesterday afternoon asking if it was me (my name in all caps). I ignored the text. This morning I received another text, this time it was three question marks. I found it kind of rude and asked who it was. They gave me the same script as stated above. Amos Jackson from ELITechGroup. Said human resources found my resume on indeed.com and that I met the requirement and they want to schedule an online interview via Google or Skype with Aaron Piercing. There were a lot of misspellings in the text message and I found the question marks to be very rude. I wouldn't be interested in working for a company who has rude hiring team members (if it was a legitimate job offer). Felt very spam-y. Hiring managers usually reach out to you via indeed.com or the workintexas.com websites. They never contact you via text message. I told the person I was not interested and blocked the number.

I just received a texst from this number 281-929-8994. Same information you stated Amos Jackson, said he is with ELITechGroup. Resume was viewed in WorkinTexas.com, selected for an online interview with Aaron Piercing. Thanks for posting this so I was not scammed!

I got the text from 2249044848 with the name being 'James Corey' and will meet with Melissa Miller with an email of [email protected]

He introduced himself as Amos Jackson as one of the hiring member of the firm ELITechGroup and said your resume was reviewed via Workintexas.com and by the human resources of their company I met the requirement and would be interviewed with Mr. Aaron Piercing. Position: Customer services Rep/ Front Desk, Data entry/ Project Manager. The interview will be conducted online and it is way faster. Do you have skype or gmail account? To download hangouts and add [email protected]. Then he said Aaron pierce was ready to interview me on hangouts. His number says maybe: Amos Jackson talked about job requirements asked a little about me. Sent me info about ELITechGroup and hours I would be working with a good benefits package and that the job is strictly online and offered training. Offered to send a check to pay for equipment and software asked if I had a laptop and printer 3 in 1 he says I am required to stay online for 5 to 10 minutes and that he needs to forward the conversation to the head of department to see if I qualify for the job. Then he says congratulations I got the job he would send me the equipment through FEdex along with the W4 form and that they take taxes out. Then he said to report to him at 8am for an update about the check and soon to be assigned duties.
