Just received a money order for $2950.52 that came in a priority mail envelope with a letter for a "Secret Survey assignment". They indicated that I was supposed to buy $2,500 worth of American Express gift cards and text pictures of them back to a cell phone number. It smelled fishy so I'm glad I double-checked. Letter was signed by Antonio Veronica.

Received a priority mail package with a congratulations letter for a secret shopper "job". Have registered for these but didn't remember this one so glad I checked further. Received a check for $2420 with instructions to get $2000 in Nike gift cards. Research before I deposit any check. The letter was signed by Thomas Eddy and the logo is Whole Foods Market. Whole Foods and Nike? Sending pics of gift cards? Sending everything via email and not a company website? Two logos appear to be copied or clipped then pasted into the letter which itself appears to be a generic copy. Sketchy all around.

I received a fake cashiers check from this supposed survey company. The letter is signed by Thomas Eddy. I'm glad that I researched this company before I deposited this into my bank account.

I received a "check" (sure, Jan) and instructions to buy 2 $500 Nike Gift cards and send them photos of the front and back and wait further instructions. Suuuuure.

I received 2 different checks in the mail,(32653 zipcode) 4 weeks apart, checks for $2500 and $2450.52, remitter JA Triplett signed by Rhonda Morton and can't read the second signature.
Instructions have Wholefoods logo and asking to buy BestBuy gift cards. Doesn't get any dumber than this!

Received a customer service evaluation tool and a check for $2950 asking me to purchase Nike gift cards and deposit the check into my bank and take pictures of the Nike cards front and backSend it back to them keep $450 of the money was just suspect to me

Received a check from Hipliners for $2452.61 drawn on the Home Depot USA INC. Instructions are to buy 2100.00 of Ebay Cards. Do they really think people are stupid enough to do this? Scums trying to take more from the workers.

Just received a check in the mail for $1,850.63 to buy Nike Gift Cards. They wanted $1,500 in the gift cards. I contacted the bank on the check. And the ref name on the check is Sherwood Kahiwaonalani. The name on the letter is Jason Billing. TH=hey want me to send a text to (530) 936-5174. I will be contacting my bank and let them be aware of this scam.

It's interesting that the credit union the check is written against is a legitimate banking institution.
