I responded to a posting on LinkedIn for a Personal Assistant Position with Hickok Cole by applying. I was then sent an text message asking me to email the team at [email protected] if I was still interested. I was then sent an email indicating that they were impressed with my resume, told me about the position. The communication would be via mail to mail and to answer a few questions. Once I responded I was then asked to supply my address for mailing check for equipment needed to purchase for the job I would be doing. I then called the company to see if there was someone I could speak with as it didn't feel right. I was then told that their system was hacked and it wasn't real. I did send my mailing information and phone number to the scammer.
