Total money lost $89.99
Type of a scam Other
I did receive the item eventually, but now after 1-2 months of light use (total of 8 times apprx) this product is cracking open, emitting a strong burning smell, and burning/knotting/tangling my hair in one of the bottom vents of the product.
I reached out to the company explaining this incredibly dangerous situation, that i stopped using it because I'm scared it's going to catch my hair/start a fire, and that I am requesting a full refund.
I received an email saying they were "reviewing" my request, and it has been weeks since I've heard back.
I tried to follow up but now every single email address that I have for them is invalid, and I get a return email notice. ([email protected], [email protected], [email protected])
I have tried to reach out on their socials, and they will not respond to me there, either.
They use a (seemingly) fake customer service company/product called Help Desk, and whenever I try to follow the prompts to sign in/create account/reset password for that website, it notifies me that I am "not authorized" to use that feature.
Note: one email has an address on the bottom of my order:
*********************In summation:
*Magic Styler's product is DANGEROUS and seems like it will explode or catch hair on fire
*They has NO valid contact information on their website or socials, and are unresponsive
*They are not initiating refunds when they say on their website that they will honor them
I just want my money back and for this company to stop selling dangerous hair products that will seriously hurt someone.
