I recently purchased an HP 5200 series printer. I had 3 other HP printers in the past that came with an installation CD. This one did not and requires you to go on the web site to down load drivers. After several tries of not recognizing my printer I called and got a support tech. Seemed very nice at first and asked to take over my computer to complete the installation. I agreed. After several tries he opened up a screen and said I have over 3200 viruses on my computer and my free virus protection was no good. He said $ for $125. he could offer me better virus protection, hook up my printer and tech support for 2 years. I told him I would talk to my computer tech first. He was not happy and we hung up. His name was Robin. My computer guy checked my computer and found many file bsettings were changed by the rep which my guy straightened out and hooked up my printer. I did not think a large company like this would go to these fraudulent extremes. It is my last HP product that I will buy.
