Over the past week he scammed gift cards and Amazon purchases totaling I er $2000. Not sure what to do next? Drained our checking account completely!

I called Hewlitt Packard, and they transferred me to someone to hook up the new printer. Tom the supervisor, called me and fixed the problem. Then he called back, and said he needed to get into my computer to add a drive and he wanted my email. I wan't home, and told him to call back Wednesday. I contacted Office Depot, and they indicated Tom shouldn't be calling me back. I am going to report this to Hewlitt Packard. Totally unrelated to this incident, a couple of months ago, I got a pop up on my computer saying I had a virus, and I called them, but when they asked for money, I hung up and changed my password.

877-929-3373 claims to be HP tech support for printers (and Google shows the same number for many services). Enter remote access to victim's computer then proceed to EBay and Paypal to try to order 2 $100 gift cards on the victim's account, saying the victim won't be charged. They also try to change the victim's password. They are criminals.

These people keep calling over and over identifying themselves as HP Hewlett-Packard you call them back on the same number they called you and you get HP again but it sounds like the legitimate HP when you call them back the scammers called saying they wanted to give me $499 back on my HP that I'm currently paying

$14. 99/month. When I start asking questions as to why and what and that I never paid $499 in the first place they get agitated and irritated with the questions and ended up hanging up on me you can always hear whole bunch of background noise and other people talking and they never talk very plain English they're definitely of a different nationality this is so frustrating as keep tying up my time I always block the number and they keep calling me back on different numbers I keep adding it to my block call list I wish someone could stop these people from doing this I'm sure many innocent people fall for it too

CALL CAME IN AND THE MAN SAID HE WAS WITH HP. I ASKED WHO HE WAS TRYING TO REACH AND HE WOULDN'T ANSWER ME. HE SAID SOMETHING ABOUT HP PRINTERS AND $1500. I ASKED WHO HE WAS TRYING TO REACH AND HE SAID FOR ME TO "GO [censored] MY DAD." I ASKED "REALLY" AND HE SAID "REALLY" I HUNG UP THE PHONE AND REPORTED THE PHONE #. I HAVE HAD THIS NEW PHONE # FOR LESS THAN A WEEK. THIS IS VERY DISTURBING TO ME.

Caller claimed to be from HP and tried to get employment verification over the phone. I informed him that I cannot give him that information. He claimed that the people he was inquiring about had contacted him. I notified him that if they contacted him directly then he could contact them through alternate lines as I would not be forwarding him on the general inquiries line. I forwarded him to the general voicemail. He proceeded to call a total of 31 times over the next 15 minutes.

On Wed March 23, 2017 I bought an HP printer from the *** on St.Clair Street in Chatham Ontario. I took the printer home to install into my computer as I needed to use it right away. I was trying to use the 123.hp.com/dj3630 address that came with the printer and an Error code kept popping up. After about 3 trys it took a few seconds when a website appears and said HP technical.... I honestly can not remember as I thought it was a legit HP company. A message from a person I think named Erica popped up and asked what I was in need of. Thinking that the Error was connected to the HP head office and that I was speaking to a HP person I said that all I was trying to do was set up my printer. She said that it was not a problem and asked for my phone number to call me and a technchian could set up it up from there end. I was hesitant at first but thought it has to be legit as it was because I was setting up my computer. So I shared my house number and shortly after a man calls with a strong Indian type accent. He said his name was Peter Martin. Not thinking I just continued on with following his instructions to download some website that allowed him to get on my computer. After a few attempts he said he was not able to get the printer to work that he needed to look for something. Then showed me a screen that said "867 trojan malware" At this point my husband walked in and started to listen to the conversation. The guy then told me it was not going to be a problem. He was going to get my computer printer put into the computer and get rid of the trojan. He told me to leave my computer on and I could do what I needed to do for about 40 min to an hour while he fixed the problem. He then proceeded to ask for my credit card information as it was going to cost me $100 to fix the problem. I told him to remove himself from my computer now. He started to get angry with me almost instantly and told me I was going to loose all my info from my computer he could fix it. Seeing the frustration in my face my husband grabbed the phone and told the guy to remove himself or we where reporting him to the police. He started swearing so bad my husband just hung up the phone. so I went on line not thinking and found a number to Hp to call and file a complaint. I got an Indian again who started off friendly yet again and then explained that it was mandatory that I paid the guy and this was a normal procedure. Frustrated yet again I hung up the phone. I was not able to access my computer until I took the wifi off and shut the computer down to reboot. Now my computer is even more messed up then I can deal with as I have no idea what they did to my computer.

Caller stated he was from Hewlitt-Packard and offered to clear malware/viruses from my computer. I consented to have him take remote control of my hard drive. I also gave him my credit card number after he offered 3 years of such "services" for $300 fee.

On 12/8 I received a call from that telephone number. The person said she was calling from HP (the manufacturer of my computer and the company that provides computer support). She said they were showing that my computer had experienced 40% error messages. During this call, I talked to two other persons until the last one (from "billing") asked me to go to a store and buy a gift card in the amount of $100. At this point, I informed him that I was not going to do this and I believe the call was a scam. During the call, another person did obtain access to my computer remotely where he wrote a message on Notepad. I have contacted my bank to put alerts on just in case there is an attempt to get money.
