I ordered flooring on the Super Arbor website. I thought the site looked good, and it displays the ScamPulse.com accredited logo. After ordering, I got a confirmation email and an email offering free shipping if I provided a review. I thought that was strange, since it was several hundred pounds of flooring and there were grammatical errors in the email, which raised some concerns. I checked on ScamPulse.com and found out they are not accredited. After doing more research online, I found many people stating that they never recieved the product after waiting several months. On their site, they do warn of very long shipping times and they also state that all canceled orders will be subject to a 20% cancellation fee. So at this point I was getting nervous about the legitimacy of this site.

A day or two later, I recieved an email from Super Arbor stating that the flooring I ordered was no longer available and they gave me 2 substitution options. Neither option was the correct dimensions or colors. They also were not the same brand as the ordered product. So I emailed back and told them those options would not work and I asked if I could get my money back without the cancellation fee due to their lack of product. They replied that there were no exceptions to the cancellation policy and to let them know if I would like to cancel.

At this point, I realized their scam. I believe they run 2 scams. One, people order items that never show up. After waiting 2-3 months and not receiving the item, people online complained about a lack of customer service. So either the customer is out all that money, or if they do get ahold of customer service and cancel the order, Super Arbor collects 20% of the order without ever fulfilling it. So in this scam, Super arbor gets 20-100% of the order without actually providing any product. The second scam is the one I experienced. Super arbor sells items they don't even have, they tell the customer they don't have the item any more and when the customer cancels, Super arbor gets the 20%. I believe that if I had selected one of their substitution flooring options, I would have experienced the item never showing up and having to cancel the order 2-3 months later.

So after realizing their scam, I contacted my CC company and informed them of the potential fraud. I was told the order would have to be processed and they would handle it from there. At this point, the order was still pending on my CC.

I contacted Super arbor and called them out on their scam. I informed them that I wanted to cancel my order and I expected a full refund. I told them that I had already contacted my CC fraud department and that if I did not get my full refund, I would be filling a report on the FTC fraud website. The next day, my pending order was gone from my CC account. So, I did not lose any money to this scam, but I want to warn others to not purchase items from this website.
