I singed up with a facebook group to get government grants. He was one of the so-called grant writers for my state, which is California. I emailed him and he sent me a contract to apply for a $100,000 grant to start my mortgage and loan brokerage. After sending him close to $9,600 he had checks sent to my address. He had me deposit those checks, wait until they cleared, then withdraw the money and send it to a bitcoin address for a log. It was two checks for approximately $4,800 each. After sending the money back, the grant writer who goes by the name of Ryder, said the log office didn't get $2,800 of the money and if I want the grant, I would need to make up for that amount. This is when I became suspicious. This is my first time applying for a grant, so I am unaware of how the process works. I checked the blockchain and bitcoin and the payment in question was confirmed I had sent it. I was very frustrated by these turn of events and I just wanted to end the relationship. He did some coaxing and I really wanted the money so I could go into business for myself, so I said I would pay the $2,800. One day, I tried to access my online banking app and I couldn't. I called my credit union to find out what happened and they said I deposited fraudulent checks drawn off someone else's account. It was those checks he had sent to me. I told him about it abd he said because I didn't pay back the $2,800 that was the reason it was coming back as fraudulent because the log payment was incomplete. He's been harassing me on WhatsApp and I am filing a police report tomorrow and turning over all my information to the authorities. I believe his full name is Ryder Pearce. I kept the thread from our interaction on WhatsApp and I could send it to you becuase my bank did a print out so I can restore my account to what it was. I checked his website and he has no physical address or landline number where you can reach him.
