Unfortunately I have gotten scammed by these Jokers, they come up with every excuse on the money that they have obtained and hold it hostage. The money is first scammed with a tax ID number for $3,500 then they state that the company buying the property SAT # is no longer good and it will take $5,000 to update this once this happens then they show you money in an account supposedly in mexico, the next step is that the money has been seized in Mexio and that their is a 20% fee for the bank to investigate, then the bank supposedly sends the money to your account, however this supposedly goes to the wrong account, now it transfers to another bank and then again it is seized and another 20% is needed to free the money. The jokers names are Ron Taylor and Jacob Demora. These people need to be put in jail, if their is any else that has been scammed feel free to contact me @ [email protected] lets get them put in jail

Hi all...

We have been contacted by this Michael Plant of Helios Commodity as well. We are taking him as far as possible to try to reveal the entire scam. M. Plant went to some Nava Capital Priority, Amanda Keller, to Lisa Turner and Samuel Johnson at Valley Equity LLC in Syracuse. We received 50% more than we paid as an offer with that entire amount deposited in a Citibanamex account with that "cross-border" account #. Of course we tried every which way but Tuesday to contact this Mexican bank but of course all the numbers listed on the internet have no clue what we are talking about. The one thing these scam artists were not prepared for was that my husband is fluent in Spanish so he can speak to all the "players" in this scam. The best "performance" came from the "Senior Broker" at Helios, a Kaitlin Brand. I guess Michael Plant is not savvy enough to try to close the deal. He had told us all along that we would NOT be laying out any money EVER and then the Senior broker came on, and informed us of this Tax ID we would have to obtain and another ID or license in order to sell this time share...and we all know it is BS. I am going to push this as far as I can and they will never see a dime from us but we want to try to trip them up and save a lot of other people from this scam. We called our resort and they are aware of this scam going on and of course warned us as well. They said everything that Helios, Valley Equity and Nava Capital Priority are telling us is 1000% a scam.
Can any of you share where we need to report these players?
Thank you so much for your time and for sending these warnings!

They just tried to get us too. Did you ever find out what agency we need to report this fraudulant company to?

Hello guys, I also got a very juicy offer for my timeshare. I. Went as far as receiving a purchase agreement. I believe they want to make you pay the 6% commission of the sale because for some reason after you sign the agreement your going to want to cancel. In that clause it says you will be liable for their 6% if you wish to terminate the contract. Check the picture out. Let me know what you think.

I am not claiming that this is a scam but a situation requiring caution because it might be a scam. I provided to them very little information and no money. In July 2020, Helios cold-called me offering to sell my timeshare. I agreed. They contacted me again saying that they had a buyer offering 50% more than my initial payment for the timeshare. They then had Valley Equity LLC call me to establish an escrow account. Helios says that they are in Geneva, Switzerland and there is a website for a company by that name in Geneva but the website is registered in China. Valley Equity says that their address is Syracuse, NY. There is a company registered with New York State but in Rockland Cty. Valley Equity's website is registered in Mexico.

I received a similar approach from Helios:

Dear Mr. and Mrs. _____,

I hope this email finds you well.

My name is Michael Plant and the company I work for is looking for members like you, who have highly desirable properties in prime locations with ____ resorts in Mexico. Our investor wants to purchase the membership from you to be capable of not only take it off your hands but also be able to manage these properties, or at least gain controlling interest. You see, to you, your membership is for vacation and spending time with the family, but to the investor, the membership represents a share.

Let me ask you this, what would you say if I could obtain your initial investment back and maybe even a profit? Think about that for a second.

If you would like to entertain an offer from the investor to see what your membership is worth today, please respond to this email as soon as possible. The offer is FREE and I can strongly guarantee at least 75% current market value. Let’s get the ball rolling.

If you are Serious and If you are interested I ask for you to please provide me a telephone number you can be reached at. Thank you.

I look forward to hearing from you soon!

Best Regards,

Michael Plant

I'm wondering if anything further has happened with the report that you set forth above? Or if anyone has any more information about this company and proposal they are making for buying timeshares.

Thanks,
Ron

I got a similar offer from the same "company". I have many questions about their domain helioscommodity.com (https://whois.domaintools.com/helioscommodity.com). It seems like a scam for me.

"Hope all is well and you are in good health.

I’m Ryan McDonald and the firm I work for, Helios Commodity, is looking for owners like you, who have highly desirable properties in prime locations in Mexico. What would you say if I could get your initial investment back and maybe even a profit? Think about that for good minute. You definitely could be missing out on any equity you’ve built up over the years.

You see, to you, your membership is for vacation and spending time with the family, but to us, its a share within these properties. So, if you didn’t have the burden of the membership, what else could you be focusing on? Kid’s college? Remodeling your house? The possibilities are limitless.

At present, the world is in turmoil due to the Covid-19 crisis, and Mexico is no different. Selling your membership could give you that necessary boost you urgently need at this time. After all, do you really use your membership? How about if I can help you get rid of it in a timely manner? Think of the relief and impact on your pockets.

If you would like to entertain an offer and see what your membership is really worth today, please respond to this email as soon as possible. Let’s get the ball rolling!

I look forward to hearing from you soon!

Sincerely,
Ryan McDonald
