The seller is masquerading as a hedgehog breeder. I bought a Hedgehog through their website for $200 and paid $50 for shipping. They insisted this be paid through Zelle (with no alternative). Then they explained the currier GlobalCon Airways would transport the animal same day. I received an email from G. Airways saying they would not transport the animal unless I paid $550 - $1700 to upgrade the carrier to a thermal protective vessel. I told the seller, and they agreed to pay the amount. Then the next day, the animal supposedly arrived, but would not be released from the airport unless I paid G.Airways $650 (through Zelle) for an exotic animal permit for the city of Memphis. I called the airport and they had not received any animals and did not work with or had heard of G.Airways. I also called the TWRA regional office to ask about hedgehogs. Not only are they not considered exotic, the permit for exotic animals is only $31.00, and would not be paid through a third party or Zelle. I have all of the correspondence in my email.
