I am a victim from this company. They took $4,500 from me for a used car I saw in Offer up.I have been looking for a used car,I saw one and I contacted the seller via email told me the car is ready to sell,it was for her son who died from an accident 4 months ago,it’s a bad memory. She told me she already paid the shipping company and I will get the car for 5 days in inspection before I paid the whole money. The car was for $4,500.A few minutes I received an invoice from”Heber Auto Shippers”,they asked me to make a deposit $1,500 in the car and it will be delivered on March 17th.They asked me to make the transaction via Bitcoin because it is faster than if I used my debit card.I thought it was true,I went to my bank, withdrew the money and sent it.It was on March 15th.You have access to talk to this company only via a live chat, the phone is not working.I track the the car it was in preparation. On March 16th,I received another email from this company asked me before they started the shipping I will need to make a deposit of $1,500 to start with the shipping because the amount paid by the seller is not enough and the item is undervalued ,automatically I made this deposit the shipping will start,I made the deposit same way cause I said I already put some money and they guaranteed me I will get these money at the delivery. After I track I saw the car was in transit. On March 17th I received an email told me the car stopped at the border of Indiana(Indiana Customs Tax),to restart with the shipping I need to make another deposit $1,500 and I will get the car within 12 hours,I sent the money.A few hours I tried to talk to them via the site I couldn’t have acces,I emailed the seller she didn’t answer me.I spent all night waiting for the car, until today I have no car and they take my money. On March 18th,I tried using another email,I texted the seller about the same car,I said I am interested in the car and she sent the same messages she sent to me when I first contacted and I realized it was a scam. They killed me cause I didn’t have more money and I need the car.I think the Police need to find these people cause they continue to scam people.

Hello I have been looking for a used vehicle with low mileage and in good condition on OfferUp and Craigslist. I came upon a post that seemed too good to be true a 7 year old vehicle with under 100k miles for under $5000. I contacted the seller inquiring about the vehicle, I was told that free shipping could be provided directly to my address since the vehicle was out-of-state (red flag the listing indicated that it was within 50 miles), and if I agreed to purchase I would have a 5-day inspection period that would allow me to test drive, and have a mechanic look at the vehicle. If I wasn't happy the vehicle could be returned out of the seller's expense. I asked for more time to consider and a photo of the engine compartment, the response was that there were 2 other parties interested in purchasing, no photo. Instead of seeing the red flags I agreed to purchase in a rush and received an invoice from the auto shipping company via email, for 1/3 of the total amount agreed ($1,500) and the payment was to be sent via Bitcoin. I didn't like this payment method for such a big purchase and looked into the business, there was a website, a contact #, and address. At first glance it seemed legit but as I looked further into it, it wasn't good. No reviews for a 10 year old business outside the website, the phone had an automated message directing contact via email/website chat and any attempts to have my questions answered were thwarted and on top of that there was no auto business registered with this name to find. Very disappointing but I am glad I did some research before sending $$$ wish I had stopped with the first red flags, do not trust sellers that try to rush you into a purchase, especially if it is too good to be true!!
