My dad found a backhoe on Marketplace and was so excited to find it at such a good price...WARNING: IF IT SEEMS TO GOOD TO BE TRUE, IT PROBABLY IS A SCAM! The web page, heavyprimeequipment.com, seemed like a legitimate website and the testimonials were great!!! Unfortunately, we were convinced it was the real deal and made the purchase. My dad had to send the money by bank draft to a bank in Wichita, KS where the equipment was supposedly coming from. We were told the backhoe would be delivered on Friday of the following week and I would be receiving a tracking number in my email. I never got the tracking number. I called several times to get the number and was told the same thing every time. She was going to look into it and have it sent to my email... My dad had saved money for years in order to pay for this and he never received it. I knew we had been scammed when I looked the address up on Google Maps the next day and there was a car lot there. I hope this prevents other innocent people from making the same mistake we made. The seller's information is:
