Type of a scam Employment
This person texted me, asking to make a hair appointment, I am a hairstylist. The conversation started off blunt, and there were spelling errors like referring to the salon as “saloon.” Also after understanding the clients needs, they said they have an event and want to surprise 10 children with getting their hair done. They asked for how much I charge, I told them, then I asked for a name because they gave no name. Next they said they can pay the deposit for the services, but next asked for a “favour.” Then asked if I could create a $4000 invoice so they can pay the driver who will be dropping the children off at the salon since they don’t have cash, they are a retired military vet who is hearing impaired and they can’t go to the bank because of their condition. NOPE. Don’t fall for it.
