Heartland Media group looks for any ads that are placed on Auto trader etc and an sales representative will call you and say that they have 3 or 4 bidders that are looking for exactly what you have for sale ( in my case it was an RV) and that they will have it sold at your reserve price in 1 to 3 weeks. They then ask you to pay their fee of 500.00 and list your item on their auction sites. In my case in a matter of a week they stated they had sold the rv and basically after that point did not communicate in a timely manner. I asked the rep point blank if the RV was sold and was told yes...I missed multiple offers on my own sale of the rv because I was told by the rep that the sale would be done by April 1 st. April 1 st past no communication, spoke to Operation guy who was in fact the Principal of the company and he got the rep to email me a 2 sentence response. After that no communication at all . they avoided and blocked my calls and when I did get through would not return any calls. i lost a sale of the RV because of their lies that the rv was sold. This company should be shut down or reported to the FTC for their scam. I did report them personally to the FTC but I"m not sure what would happen .
