I contacted this person through the online form on their website https://healthychickenforsale.com/ on May 13th, 2023, regarding an order for 3 chickens. They contacted me back via text message from phone number (325) 644-8841 and asked for details. I told them what chickens I wanted then placed my order on their website and got an exact quote of the price ($124.95 INCL. shipping) BEFORE I submitted the payment through PayPal with the "Family & Friends" option (to email [email protected] Iesha Haymond) as I had been instructed. The shipping date was originally scheduled for May 31st, but when I inquired on May 18th if it would be possible to move up the shipping date, I was told that there would be another payment of $50 due for shipping "Insurance". It seemed reasonable since it was live animals being shipped, so I submitted this payment as well (to email [email protected] Stephen Burkett). Was promised an update on shipping details "within an hour time", but instead encountered 3 days of no communication. When they finally responded on May 22nd, I was told that there would be another $30 I would have to pay for "Shipping Boxes", and that's when I told them to CANCEL my order and REFUND the money I had already paid. This resulted in the website chat we had been using at the time to DISAPPEAR from the website, and I was also blocked from their Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/people/Mathews-chicken-farm/100083582190219/ and https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100083582190219). Further messages I sent through their website contact from as well as messages to the 2 PayPal accounts I submitted payments to remain ignored. I do have screen shots of ALL communications and ALL transactions that I can provide to get this SCAM stopped.
