My mother who is 85 years old, has some dementia and lives in an assisted living facility was contacted by this company unsolicited. She is enrolled in the do not call registry. They told her they had a medication for her and she thought it was a payment that was needed for her regular medications that come by mail. The company withdrew $600 from her account for payment. The product that they were sending her was labeled as a Human Growth Hormone. When the product arrived it was in a box with no return address. I needed to return the product and so I opened the box to get the return address information. Among other paperwork was an agreement she was supposed to sign in order to receive wholesale pricing of $600 for 12 bottles of product. The agreement stated that since she had order this large quantity there was no return policy. If she had ordered the smaller amount of 3 bottles there is a return policy. I called the company and they refused to allow me to return the product. They had no consideration for my mother's condition and said they bought her number on a solicitation list and it was not their fault she was on the do not call registry. They said they had a recording of the call with her where she was very clear on the terms of the purchase but they would not provide me with the recording. When I told them that she was about to have surgery and that her doctor would certainly not allow a drug that came in the mail to be taken by her they said I should start taking it instead. I complained to the Sun Trust bank and they said that this type of fraud is not covered because there is a return policy for the company even though it does not apply to the large amount they sent my elderly mother. They have figured out a very clever way to manipulate the system and I do not want anyone else fooled by this. My mother could not afford to lose the $600 for a product that she cannot take and does not need. When I mailed the product back to them they refused receipt and the product was received back at the front desk of the assisted living facility while my mother was in the hospital. I still have the product enclosed in the box as it was returned and would like to return it to the company and have them return my mother's money and ask that they never contact her again. i have had to remove complete access to her debit card for this reason. She does get scam calls occasionally but has never had one regarding her medicines so she fell for it. I hope that this company is stopped from this bulk order scam before they take funds from other innocent people.
