I received an email from a Elizabeth Owens with interest in my application for a data entry position. I had applied for several jobs via Indeed and LinkedIn recently. I do believe this came from LinkedIn as it was the most recent place I had applied through. I then was requested to send my resume to a Sarah Owens and was asked to do an employment survey which I completed. It did not ask for any extraordinarily unusual information beside the name of my bank. The next day I received a job offer with an offer letter. I felt this was quick and sketchy with no Zoom interview or further communications. That's when I dug into the company deeper and found that it is a known scam.

I received an email regarding my application for a Remote Data Entry Clerk role. I sent my resume as she asked and another person emailed me (Sarah Doherty, [email protected]). Sarah gave me a rundown of the job roles, what the company offers etc. When I replied back to her that I was interested, I decided to research the company and it turned out to be fake. It said that [email protected] was flagged as being associated with employment and hiring scams.

I received an email from Elizabeth Owens ([email protected]) regarding my application for a Remote Data Entry Clerk role. Sarah gave me a rundown of the job roles, what the company offers etc. When I replied back to her that I was interested, she sent me a link to do an assessment as well as a link for an employee form. I did not click these links and I researched the company and it turned out to be fake. It said that [email protected] was flagged as being associated with employment and hiring scams. Do not reply to any emails or click any links that are associated with these email addresses or with this company name.

This scam came from an email that pushed me to apply to a job. I applied and received said job but the scam wanted for me to apply for non-existent licensing. This licensing was to be paid by myself and then the employer/scammer would reimburse me. After researching the licensing I found other scams that were happening with this type of schemes.
