I saw Health Catalyst was hiring via facebook and I thought I should give it a shot. They sent me a link where I would be contacted through and it was through Microsoft teams chat link: https://teams.live.com/l/invite/FEADesu57fSg_HBmxs I met a Man named Donald Bright who proceeded with a written 15 minute interview to see if I was a fit for the company. I waited and he said I was a 98% fit and sent me a link to fill out for employment verification: https://surveyheart.com/form/65a3960894ae68797acfaaa6 It asked for my name and other information including my social security number. I filled it out without thinking and it came to my attention later that I accidentally put in the wrong social. (The last digit was off) They only told me this when I confronted them about the fraudulent check that was reported to me by my bank. Health Catalyst sent me both front and back images of a check addressed to me for the future purchase of company equipment and software I would need. They were very specific about needing it being from their choice of services. Before the check was sent to me they sent me an employment offer letter telling me of all the requirements and benefits working with Health Catalyst which included paid training and a startoff amount of $350 for me to use personally. The documents had the address of the company on the top. I printed it up and scanned it with my signature and emailed it back to their secretary Malnie Nelson. After I told them what my bank said about my check they said they would send me a physical one I could take in to deposit. It had more money than the first transfer I tried. Then they tried to sign me up for a company credit card and that was when they asked if I entered the right social. They proceeded to tell me that the check must have been declared fraudulent because I used the wrong social security number and I haven't contacted them again. I looked on their company website to see if my offered position as data entry specialist was even hiring and it was not. I googled the phone number for the company and it wasn't helpful or had any live representatives available to help. I checked here at the ScamPulse.com which only had a Health Catalyst Inc. listed, but not approved. The address was the same as the other, but with a different phone number.: (855)309-6800 I checked the website and it was different listed as www.healthcatalystinc.com I looked through the site and the employment position was again not available or listed. In the job opening section it stated that "all its applicants will be prompted to create an application/account in Workday—allowing you to track the progress of your application and securely complete onboarding tasks." I was not instructed to do so. Also, "All communication from Health Catalyst will come via a healthcatalyst.com email including interview notifications and all offers." The interview I had was on Microsoft Teams only. It further states, "Any communication you receive from Health Catalyst or its Staffing Team will be via a “healthcatalyst.com” branded email domain. Interviews will be done by phone or video calls unless notified otherwise" I was not given neither a phone or video call interview. I am going to call the Bureau tomorrow May 1, 2025 to report as well to make sure I'm not jumping to any conclusions.
