I was looking for employment on Indeed. I applied for a "Data Entry" Position. The post said to email their HR. So I did and then I received an email the next morning. They told me to download "Telegram" a messaging app so that they could interview me and brief me on the job. The whole "interview" was about 20-30 mins but most of it was talking about me as a worker and the job itself, they only asked for my name phone number email and address. So I really wasn't alerted until the end when they said they were going to send me a check to pay for the software I would need and for a printer, home office supplies. That's when I was like no way, this is not right. I've seen these scams before. No business sends money like that without work being done. They said they want me to report to them tomorrow to see for the "Status" of the check and then tell me what to do next for "work". They probably want me to deposit it (a Fake check) and then send them back money, which I will not do!

Right away I went to the credit Bureau's and put a fraud alert. I also checked the identity theft program I'm subscribed to and right away saw three alerts for my Email, Address and phone number. They were already using and probably selling my information. I also reported their Job post on Indeed. I also tried to contact their website to see if they were legit and it never went through or even rang. It was all illegitimate.
