I found the puppies for sale at Havenridge Goldendoodles. The website looked very reputable with testimonials, guanantees, etc. I completed a contact form and received an email from [email protected]. The email I received had several pictures of the puppy I was interested in and well as information about the breeder, 2 year health warranty, etc. I also had to write an essay answering a lot of questions about why I wanted this puppy and if I was able to provide it with the proper vet, food and exercise. (Sounded good). After some back and forth, I decided to purchase the puppy. I was given the following information to make ta $500 deposit through Zelle. I was also contacted through text regarding how to complete the payment and setting up a day and time to come and pick up the puppy. On the day, my family and I traveled 2 hours to get the puppy on the find no one at the house. We talked with 2 neighbors that confirmed that there were no puppies seen at the house and that another women had shown up with a similar story a month before.
