A person from a private number called me to tell me they were serving me papers. They gave me a number of the attorneys threatening to sue. I called the number and the man demanded I pay back an old debt from 10 years ago. No only that, they’ve been calling me at 3 am!!!! When I called the number, the man mentioned deceased family members and an old address that I haven’t lived at for years. I asked for verification of debt because why would I send 2000 dollars to a random number that’s calling me. He refused. He sent me a contract via email that looked poorly made and extremely unofficial. Just like their website. They continue to call me and have came through with different numbers with the 888 area code. Please find these scammers because they are annoying and scummy.

Yesterday, 11/28/23, a Lady called from and Unknown Number and called me by first name and former last name . She said I was being served a law suit by my county. I asked for further info and contact name and number. She proceeded to tell me her name and a phone number (with the same area code as my hometown city) to call for more info. She said she would be able to hold the service for 30 minutes.

When I called the phone number a man answered and said Law Firm. He asked for a case number (which the previous lady gave to me once I asked for further info). After giving him the case number, the male voice told that I was being served papers for an old debt. The lady had previously read off my current address when I asked for that info., so after he mentioned debt I knew it was a scam and my husband tried to calm me from being upset, so I hung up. Then t almost immediately , my husband (standing beside me) was called on his cell phone. I never disclosed his phone number to either caller.

I was also called today, 11/29, several times. The callers have called from different phone numbers in different NE USA area codes, but none from my state, or my county. However, the lady caller said she worked for Harris County PSV.

Stated that they wanted to drop off legal documents to my address, when asked what legal documents all they said was "its a civil matter". Called my Wife, my parents, her parents and myself.
