Three staff in the same office booked tickets online with BestTicketFares. Within a couple of days staff started receiving emails and/or phone calls stating there was an issue or their tickets had been cancelled because we did not respond to several calls/emails from them. This was not true as the email was the first or maybe second communication from an "agent." When talking to them, a supervisor would eventually respond and tell us that due to circumstances beyond their control (never a real reason though) they had to cancel the ticket and since it was a non-refundable ticket we could use the money towards another ticket that is either double or tripe the amount. The first ticket was $144 and the new ones were $350-500 plus. When we said no that was not acceptable and it sounded like a scam, we ended conversations with them. We alerted our credit card holders and thankfully none of us were charged any fees from this company. However, they have our cc information and personal information (birthdates).
