I called this company after receiving an offer in the mail for an extremely low rate for debt consolidation. I received a call back from a man named “Jason Vorhis” and we exchanged general info about the terms and conditions of the offer. When he asked me for my social security number I said I was not comfortable sharing it with him and preferred instead to fill out an application online. He said there was not one and I said I was not comfortable. That is then the tenor of the conversation changed and I felt like perhaps I had fell pray to a scam. I tried calling the number back once the call ended and asked the man to email me as well but he did not answer and I never received any follow up email. This is a debt consolidation scam I now know based on research I have done over the internet. This company is probably exploiting people, or worse, and I will probably also be filing a complaint with the Consumer Bureau of Financial Protection.
