- Spring Branch, TX, USA

I was referred to this person who was supposedly claiming to be MD Abdul Haroon. Another doctor by the name of MD James M. Wilson ([email protected]) was the person who referred me to them. Wilson said he had seen my resume online (at the time I had posted my resume on a few websites in search of a job). At first I had turned him down because I was with someone else at the time but later it didn’t work out & reached back out. He told me that he already hired someone else & referred me to Haroon. After that I was hired & my first task was to create a presentation, which I did. After that he sent a check, which I deposited into my account & used to the money to get gift cards for him as they were for a project that he was working on. It wasn’t until after I deposited & used the money for the second check that I was notified that the checks were fraudulent. By that time it was too late, it had all bounced back to my account & it became negative.
