Our dog died so 2 months after we were looking for another one. Looking at rotti rescue, adoption and looking all over the state of Florida. Well after a while searching two sites popped up. one was happyhomeofrottweilers.com and the other was sweetgermanrottweilerpuppies.com i inquired to both. I was contacted by the happyhomeofrottweilers.com by text. I asked for more pictures which he provided. He then called after requested and answered all our questions including they sent more pics. The price was 500.00 (after 50% off) and 150 for shipping by airline. We said we would send 100.00 as deposit and after more confirmation send the 550.00 the following day after thinking about it. We received more pix and sent the balance. That was then were we started digging to realize it was too good. Asking questions that the answers were not making sense. He sent the transfer of ownership papers, the schedule to sent the dog. I searched for the fraud with the website and found out it was made 9 days before we contacted them, the same with the other site but the other site was a little older. They sent us the courier information www.xpresswaves.com and that also was shady. nobody answer phone after many calls, no questions answered. they sent us shipping info this am and the breeder said we need to get shipping insurance and permits that are refundable to send dog. if not paid we will be fines for abandonment. We didn't send anything else and told the breeder that we will arrange to pick up knowing its now a scam, he said that the xpresswaves.com shipper has the puppy and he has no control over it. We disputed the claim with the bank chase and they are pursuing it. So all three websites originate in Iceland, they were all registered with www.namecheap.com or namecheap inc. So the person we supposedly spoke with was Kiajj Phillip, the number he answered was 512-761-8107 email [email protected], i have all the text and pictures, half way he changed the contact to Mr. Jay Anderson - breeder. email [email protected]
