Thought I was emailing a legitimate Corgi breeder to purchase a dog. The website has several puppies for sale with pictures, boasts AKC paperwork, dog parent information, care and shipping information. The proprieter, allegedly a family man in OK, solicits payment of $500 for direct pick-up or $550 for home delivery with payment through the Zelle app. The money was sent to [email protected]. Once payment was sent via Zelle I was contacted by "Rocket Pet Delivery" of Tulsa, OK 56 New ave. Boite Postal No 2211, EMAIL [email protected] and https://rocketpetdelivery.com/track-form/ and told of a $960.65 pet insurance fee. A male difficult to understand (accent/mumbling) identified himself as a Rocket Pet Delivery agent (tel# 1-804-991-8702 Virginia) stating he needed payment of pet insurance before shipping dog but refused to provide any details. Then recieved a text on my cell from the same 8702 number stating "Dear Client, We sent you another email. Please check and respond back ASAP, Management." Alleged Corgi dealer no longer responds to requests for information and I saw Rocket Pet Delivery is already listed as a scam on the internet. Went back through and observed numerous odd phraseology and misspelled words on Corgi Happyshort legs website. I got duped.
