As soon as I told him I did not have an OG&E account and if I did it certainly was not past due, he hung up.
I called the number back and he answered. I told him I wanted to speak with someone who could verify that I was speaking with OG&E. He said he would give me the number for the payroll dept. I said, no - that someone calling from this number just represented themself as OG&E. I said I would report him and he hung up immediately.
When I called this OG&E customer support number, they acted disinterested. They wanted to put me on hold while they looked up my account. I told them I was not a customer of theirs and I was disconnected!?!
The caller ID came across as Amy Griego 1-503-882-5488.
