Unbelievable! What utter..nonsense. I am SO glad I found this! I was just in the midst of adopting a real, LIVE puppy through them. We have been emailing back and forth, and I asked a couple of times for an actual NAME..never got one. I could tell from the "seller" that English was not his 1st language. (I say "he", but no idea, actually.) I knew there was something very wrong when he sent me an email about shipping. I live on Martha's Vineyard and he was CLUELESS about the fact that it is an Island. Is there anyone in the US who has not even heard of "Jaws"? I guess so. I even offered to pay for the flight from Boston to here. I haven't heard back. I think the shock of all the questions i asked of him, and that I wanted more information on the puppies and their facility..freaked him out and I am SO happy about it! Thanks to everyone on here, for putting their stories out. You saved me! Azi~

I purchased a puppy online from Happy Bull Terriers. com (https://happybullterriers.com/)for $800 plus $200 for shipping. They sounded on the up and up, I signed a contract, was sent pics and videos of puppy. They were shipping from OK to WI through us pet transport (https://uspettransport.com/services/domestic-pet-travel/index.html). The day before shipping I received a call that I needed to pay insurance to the tune of $1500 (NEVER disclosed previously). I called the number on the happy bull terriers website (918)901-7427 but it was out of order ("vacant number"). There was a number on the email (918-623-4897), I called this and a gentleman with a Hispanic accent answered. I asked about the insurance and he assured me this was going to be refunded. I explained that this sounded really sketchy and asked who Alexandria Williamson was, as this is the name on the contract, and he stated that this was his wife but she was not available. I then asked for my money back and he hesitated. I asked about this pet transport co and told him I was looking them up online, he then hung up and i have not been able to reach either of them (seller or transport) since. The 918-623-4897 is never answered, rings multiple times, then hangs up with a "user busy", no voicemail. The number for the us pet transport, (539)-207-3780, states "call rejected" when called.

Long story short, this is a website that has "bull terrier pups" for sale. They will send you a contract to sign that looks legit and ask you to send money to them through Zelle to a "Jacqueline Spencer" ([email protected]). The price includes shipping. The next day they will call you from a different number requesting more money for shipping. They pose as a shipping company that sends animals however, its the same voice. The website is a cut and pasted from various other websites and photos can be found through pinterest. They got me for $1000. They have another website that is bullterrierpupsforsale.com as well.

Similar to the other review, they seemed like they would genuinely like for the puppy to go to a happy home. They asked questions and sent videos of the requested puppy. When it came down to payment, we paid $800 for the puppy and $200 for the transport; $1,000 total via Apple Pay. All of a sudden, there was some guy with an accent calling from US Pet Transport saying that we had to send an additional $1,500 for insurance before the puppy could leave their facility for transportation but that it would be refunded once we received the puppy. When he insisted then we asked for a picture of the puppy in their possession; at which point he pivoted and said that they will pick up the puppy once insurance has been paid. We asked to speak to his superior and he claimed to be the supervisor. He tried to get us to pay via Apple Pay, Zelle or even a bank wire. We called the US Pet Transport phone number and no one answered and couldn’t leave a voicemail. They (Happybullterriers.com) will not respond to anything.
Scam

Sent email for more information regarding availability of a dog advertised. They responded with many questions pertaining to me and my lifestyle as if they care about where the puppy will be going to. After I answered all their questions. I heard nothing back for 2 days. I was sent videos of the puppy and then asked for payment through zelle. I was told that the puppy will be delivered to my home by their preferred shipping company within 2-3 days after payment is received. The day after I paid them, they asked for $200 more dollars for “ more insurance”. This was a red flag to me and I looked up reviews on this company and immediately found out it’s a scam. I have received no puppy, the company is not responding to me and it’s impossible to get my $1000 back because I used zelle.
