I purchased a puppy on 12/31 for $810.00 from a breeder on the internet. The puppy was dropped off at a pet shipping facility on 1/2 and they asked me to pay $1280 for a special shipping crate and $1250 was supposed to be refundable. The shipping company contacted me again on 1/3 to state that I needed to pay $980 for the necessary paper work and this was 100% refundable. I refused to pay the $990 and never heard from them or the breeder again. I quickly realized it was a scam. In total I am out $2090. Attached are the email threads from the breeder and the shipping company
