Met on Facebook he worked on oil rig needed money to assist him in finishing his job needed money. In gift cards to purchase food for his crew he sounded so desperate I felt really bad so I helped by eventually sending practically all my savings part of my retirement to help him not being careful to think of major consequences for myself and he said he would pay me back but in order for me to receive the money I had to pay courier an outrageous amount of fee for the distribution company to release the package to me. I told them to pay and they said it was my responsibility to pay since I was receiving such a large amount of money! Now I have no more savings or part of my retirement I’d gone forever I will never get anything back. I feel completely dumb and allowing my good heart to be taken advantage of.
