I asked for recommendations on Facebook and Instagram for a company that rents mechanical bulls. I looked at every company that I was recommended, and this company rented the mechanical bulls cheaper than the rest. I messaged them on Messenger and asked if they were local, and they said yes. I told them I was interested in their service, they asked that a booking fee is needed $100.00 be made to save the date. I send them through Zelle. Then the day of the party, I contacted them because the party had started, and there was no mechanical bull. They said that I need to send another $100.00 for the security depot. I send that through Zelle also. They said that they were bringing the mechanical bull soon. Then they called and said that I needed a permit for them to bring the mechanical bull, and that it was going to cost me $250.00. That is when I figured it was a scam.
