I called Haggerty Insurance to report claim, and the person answering phone said yes, you will be transferred as soon as we verify that its you, and told me they needed debit card I used to purchase my policy. Once they did this, I knew it was going wrong.they then charged me a fee, and I ended call after telling them to [censored] off. Indian accents with both people I spoke with. A minute later, the charge showed up.we cancelled card at 8am, and were obviously inconvenienced. I the spoke with Haggerty and advised them that the phone number provided led to a scam.Duly noted by Haggerty.
