I was contacted directly by the scammer for a remote data entry job offer that I found through either Indeed of LinkedIn (unsure due to the number of jobs I have applied to, and could not upon examination find any application that listed this company name). The initial person to contact me signed off on emails as "James Peterson" until I had "accepted" the position, then the sign off discontinued and it appeared the emails were very rushed and had grammatical errors not typical of a company email. The person, after asking me for my name, address, phone number and the name of my bank, told me my supervisor was named "Jake" and a phone number to text if I had any questions. I have attached screenshots of the entire email exchange. This company has little to no online presence aside from the website, no reviews or social media, which raised red flags for me. I am now worried about what they might do with my personal info.
