I signed up as a freelance writer (remote) on an online platform named "PeoplePerHour". An organization contacted me through the platform and offered me an administrative assistant position. They asked me to do an interview via google Hangouts. After the interview with Amanda William they sent me a "contract/hire letter" which I was given the position of "Payroll Administrative Officer" which is a remote position that I can do from home. I was then forwarded to my online supervisor/trainer Barry Johnson,who trained me to print out checks and mail them to different locations around the US. He himself would send me the checks via email. Initially, I wasn't too concerned because of the title of my position and they claimed to be a consulting company. But then I realized that there are no pay-stubs or anything of the sort attached to the checks. And then I realized that they had never taken any information that would allow them to pay me...and these things caused some alarm. The checks had always been for rather large amounts (approximatley $1,000 to $7,000) but I figured they were consultants so it made sense. But today they had me print a check in the amount of $567,000 and this caused great alarm. And then I ran their website through the "whois" search engine and their is no domain attached to it. Finally, I went back to PeoplePerHour, and noticed that they did not confirm that I they "hired" me. And then they claimed they would be paying me via CashApp. Everything just sounds too bizarre so I decided to place a claim.

The interview was set up on Google Hangout IM. Here is the conversation. She offered to send me a check for items that I needed to purchase through their vendor to work from home. Her name was Amanda William.

I do not know my clerical speed. The Google Hangout is really slow and I don't understand why. I am efficient in Microsoft Suite to include excel.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITY:Tracks data and source documents.Prepares and sorts source documents, and identifies and interprets data to be entered.Compiles, sorts and verifies data for accuracy.Contacts responsible parties or clients from other organisation to resolve moderately complex questions, inconsistencies, or missing data. Also perform Records keeping, keyboarding/data entry and performing a variety of other office tasks account balancing, invoicing recording,proper data analysis of sales records and recording pay slips into accounting database all these will be done through the use of the Accounting Software, such as faxing or emailing confidently and positive attitude Online from home.
