Today my brother received a phone e call from loan company name gti holdings stating that I owe them money which I did not apply for any type of loan. So I had he gave me the number to call them which I did and a lady picks up the phone and she ask me for a case number and told her I don't have one so she asks me am I the person that they been calling for and I said this she. So tells that I owe 16,000 but I can give them 4,000 and I told her that don't owe them anything. So she threatens me by saying that they will take to court so I told to do what she have to do because I know it's a scam and she was trying to scare me by threaten to take me to court. So please beware if you get text message

Person called and said that they were GTI Holdings and that they had me down for a Payday loan from 2005 and that I owed them $8,000.00. Gave me all kind of information that was not correct. I told this person to email the information and I would look at it and they refused to "update my information". Very rude people.

A few days ago my mother in law received a phone call saying that my wife owed them money from a debt she took 5 years ago. If my wife did not pay threatened to come to her work and have arrested and taken to court.. My wife called the number they had left (844-279-7423) and requested some information and what exactly she owed them as she had no memory of ever taking about this debt. They refused to mail her anything, but emailed her the attached document later that day. It seemed very vague, without any dates for the debt and no information except my wife first and maiden name. The original loan was said to be from a "GTI Holdings" which my wife had never heard of. She didn't remember it and they said it was a payday advance which she never paid back.

They called us again later that evening saying that they had sent the information and that we now needed to pay. I gave them my debit card info but convinced them that we did not have the money at the moment but they could bill us in a few days once we were paid. They agreed to this, and even talked like they would be willing to work out a payment plan over the next month or so. It seemed legit but I couldn't shake the feeling something was up, since my wife had no recollection of ever borrowing money from them.

As soon as I got off the phone my wife and I did some research and found other accounts from people all being contacted in a similar fashion by the same group, all of whom attested that they never borrowed money from this group and that it was a scam. I quickly contacted my bank and canceled the card I had given them before they could withdraw any money from us. We were lucky to catch on to the, but I am making this report to hopefully prevent others from being tricked by the group.

GTI Holdings keeps calling claiming to be representing upaid PayDay Loans from the internet. They are calling place of employment and cell phone. They have personal information, and are threatening lawsuits for an unjust loan repayment.

A company called GTI Holdings phoned me about a payday loan from December 2009. I offered to fax in the denial that it was received in the form of a letter from my former banking institution. I was told that I could not fax in any documentation not was I entitled to know any knowledge about the original lender. When I started to ask questions I was called "weird" and that I was a "waste of time".
