I was contacted via email by somebody by the name of Briana about a job that I applied for listed as “Data Entry/Administrative Assistant” at 27$/hr with GT Biopharma Inc. I was instructed to download the Signal private messaging app, and to contact the hiring manager by the name of Stephanie Lynn, phone number provided was 501-232-6648 and they asked me to provide an interview code. After interviewing for an hour, they said they would contact me in the morning regarding the position, I was hired by 8 am the next day. Everything seemed very legitimate until they sent me an offer letter that had multiple typos. After that I had asked some questions that “Stephanie” was unable to answer appropriately, almost as if they did not know English. Then they claimed that I needed to purchase my own equipment from a certified “vendor” with a check they expected me to deposit via my mobile banking app, all within one hour of being hired. I told them I was uncomfortable and suspicious to which they stopped responding. The check was sent via email from [email protected], by someone named Jeffrey Giles, and the check was from Hawaii Federal Credit Union.

I applied to a remote job position that I got from indeed.com. Connected with this company they told me to download telegram app didn't see any sign of a scom did some online investigation looked legit. We IM on telegram for a few. They wanted to no how I wanted to get paid check, direct deposit or money transfer I said check. So we went no they said for this position they will provide that is needed to start my training that they will send me the check to purchase all I need. They sent me an Employment Application and Employment Agreement explaining the Data Entry duties,Bonuses, working hrs etc. I filled it out and send it back so they have my SS number everything look so legit. I haven't received the check yet but now my gut is telling this is not right so I searched ScamPulse.com and found someone that deal with the same company and what happen to them. So now I feel I have been scammed. This check is supposed to come tomorrow 12/21/2022 and supposed to go to they vendor to purchase equipment that is needed for my training to enter in a data base about Cancer pharmaceutical for patients.

I got a random email about a data entry job paying $27/hr. I don’t remember applying for this job. They told me to download telegram where I would have an interview with the hiring manager kelly kallman. “She” asked me a series of question and told me I had passed the assessment and I was offered a job. Eventually they wanted to send me a check for office supplies and a home set up. I seen other people mentioning this in their scam reports
