On April 20th, 2021 I received a text message from a woman named Julie Morgan that is a temporary recruiter at Grupo Santillana Company claiming she saw my resume on Indeed and was offering me a Freelance Writer position for $35/hour. Then she went on to say that the interview will be held on WhatsApp or Telegram, that I had to reach out to an Arthur Gurley. I did that and had the interview. They offered me the position. When it came to paying for all materials needed for the job, they emailed me a check for $2,350 that they rushed me to deposit through my bank app. After it cleared, they asked me to Apple Pay that money to their vendor. Once that was done, Arthur told me that the vendor said that wasn't enough money and that they will be sending me a second check, which was for $1,950. Now I'm out $2,358.27 and won't have rent for next month.
