I got a text message regarding a job offer about a Data Entry Remote position, company called "GRT GAZ S.A." with a supposedly upcoming branch in New Jersey, me being from new york, thought this a really good chance to make good income from home. They offered a good pay of $28.75, but $18.75 during training week, everything good so far, but red flags started to appear when i was told to contact the hiring manager via Telegram app, so I did, and contacted "Mr. Pierre Billet - Hiring Manager", and started the conversation which lead to a "Direct Message Interview", which It has never happened to me while applying to a job, now finishing the interview, he told me I am a good fit and everything, and they procced to sent me emails with attachments files of the job offer, business code of conduct, I-9 form and W-4 form, sadly I filled them up and send them back, and then on the next business day i was given an assignment to do, and the same on the next day. After that, i was told i would be needing to get equipment and certain software programs to do my job, and that a checked is going to be send out to my name. I got the tracking information on the next day, and was told the check would be here 2 days after. I got the check, was instructed to go deposit the check with the bank teller, they told me it couldn't go through, so i used the atm and the check was put on hold, check came from "First Financial Bank", and after sending a receipt confirmation to "Mr. Pierre Billet", i was told until the funds become available the next day if i can go and get the equipment myself, and that all the money spent will be reimbursed to me as soon the check clears. I said that I wasn't able to, and that i rather wait for the check to clear tomorrow, and now the entire conversation is been deleted from his side, thankfully i saved everything and have pictures of all. The amount of the check was $4,935.23. I should of listen to my instincts first as soon i noticed the first red flag, I'm writing this to aware people about these scams, and for them to make sure you are applying to a legitimate job, instead of wasting precious time.
