I was reached out by someone claiming to be from a company called Avectas, which seems to be a legit company based on the website and people on LinkedIn. I was asked to go over an interview on Teams chat (text messaging only) and I was given an offer letter the same day as well. The person (Gregory M. Kothe) sent the offer letter from a personal email ID rather than from a company domain and the offer letter did not have the right digital signature (it had the author as "hp" and was created using MS Word 2013). Real organizations don't usually do that. I tried to call the company using the phone number given on BBB, but it always goes to a voicemail. As far as the personal information asked, they have my name, email, home address and the name of the bank I have my account at.
