Greenwood Aussies Reports & Reviews (3)

All the puppies look the same age but it’s not possible to have 4 different types of Aussies in one liter. You cannot talk by phone. They asked to send the money by Western Union. They refused to FaceTime or have more pictures of the puppies. The phone number on one of the dogs tags was a Florida phone number. The website is registered in Panama. There are grammar errors on the webpage. They texted back a lot of unusually long emails. When confronted with this being a scam they stopped emailing.

Found site online of Australian puppies. Found a dog named Brooks that we really liked and sent an inquiry about. Was sent a contract and told to cash app money. I was still a little apprehensive about sending money so I decided to do further research and after doing further research discovered that this was once called Applegate Aussies not greenwood and that Applegate Aussies has already been reported to BBB. Looked up Applegate Aussies on Facebook and found a few post saying they were stolen photos of people’s pets that were clearly not for sale.

My family and I were in search of an Australian Shepherd puppy. We have been looking all around and couldn't find one we really wanted. They tend to go fast. So I goggled the dog type we wanted and I saw Greenwood Aussies. Clicked on it, read all their information, saw the puppies and fell in love with one named "Brooks". I sent the inquiry. They didn't respond until later in the day, after sending out another email letting them know I was very interested. Then the process started from there. After two days of talking over the details they sent the money transfer information. Keep in mind my heart was already in love with this little dog. I was making decisions from the heart and the not my brain. So, I then paid "Christopher Green" $655 for "Brooks". After nearly 24 hours and not hearing anything back I began to worry. I reached out via email several more times asking to please call me and discuss details. I needed to talk to a person, not email. They said they would call and of course never did. Anytime I have tried to call the number no one has ever picked up. They also never called me. I then posted my concern on an Aussie group on Facebook to see if anyone else experienced a similar situation and instantly many breeders alerted me that this was a scam. They have many red flags on their website, including shipping the dog, which of course I thought was normal due to COVID. I have also submitted this claim to my bank, but since I used Zelle, which is like cash there isn't a ton they can do at this point. When I also googled the address they provided on the puppy contract it showed up on the ScamPulse.com as a different puppy site which listed complaints. They are clearly opening multiple puppy sites to gain money and break people's hearts. I hope you can put a stop to this. I would of course love my money back, but I don't want anyone else to fall victim to such a ruthless crime.
