Bait & Switch Price

Total scam artists! Their website advertises a low price of under $100.00, but when the man arrived he said that was only an estimate and the job will actually cost $450. which is three times the amount that I've ever paid for carpet cleaning. Unknowingly, the person who was at my house agreed to their "discounted price of $350. When I was called to approve the $350. I said absolutely not, because I was quoted $69.99. When i arrived home, they had already started the job. I insisted that I would only pay the advertised and quoted price. The man had me call his boss, who then had me call another "boss." I finally wrote a check for $175. but the job was very poorly done. The machine that they used looks like the kind that is rented at the grocery store. The stairs are still dirty and the cleaning solution they used smells like cat litter. Since the carpet was wet when they left, I couldn't see that the dirt was never lifted. I am very disappointed and frustrated that I got scamed. Stay away from this company!

I did not know we were getting scammed until after the incident. Two strangers entered my unit, unfortunately it did not occur to me to ask them to show proof of identification because everything happened so fast. I was rushed, they pressured me into letting them into my home because they were carrying cleaning machine and needed to quickly set it down. They said that they could remove all dirt and stains and the sofa would look presentable. I've never worked with an upholstery company, I didn't know the proper protocol, however I realized that they were just using water and low grade solution and brought up the concern immediately . At this point they have already turned on their vacuum and pressured me into paying them because they started the job and said wait two hours for results. They did not allow me to make a payment to the company instead I needed to send through payment to Cash App (belonging to Liran Agassi), that this was the only way the company can receive form of payment. After 15mins of cleaning the sofa they said to wait several hours for sofa to dry and left. Later that evening, It was clear that they did not perform the service promised ( referenced images attached). Next morning, I made a phone call to the company, and before I could explain the situation ( no verbal complaint had been fully voiced) they asked for my address and hung up. I thought the call got disconnected, so I called back and a different voice answered and hung up. I called again and now the number is rejecting incoming calls. I started to do more research on the company by reaching out to local upholstery cleaning services and have learned that the industry has a high rate of fraudulent cases because the cleaning service is not regulated by the law. Its very upsetting to learn this, and I want to be of service to the ScamPulse.com by sharing my story. I realise that this is a small scam compared to many other bigger cases, I hope that ScamPulse.com can continue to support our community and country given the current economic crises by flagging fraudulent companies like Green Dry Masters.
