Jimmy (the outsourced carpet cleaner) came in and looked at the job. I told him I scheduled the four room for $99 special. He pushed hard insisting that steam cleaning alone was not going to clean the carpet. He wanted to use shampoo, pet treatment, and some other heavily fragranced agent. He offered to do the latter two options at his expense saving me around $84/room. I pushed back against that and he said repeatedly he didn't want to do the work because steam wasn't going to clean it. He didn't want to waste his time and I wouldn't be happy. I told him I wasn't expecting miracles. I just wanted the surface steam cleaned. He clearly doesn't understand that steam is a form of santization.

I had to have a verbal battle with him talking over me and mansplaining as I repeatedly stated that I have multiple chemical sensitivies and a seizure disorder. He can't use anything that doesn't pass my nose test. I am a trained certified clinical aromatherapist. I told him that as such, I understand the chemistry of VOC's and I didn't want anything used that I didn't scent test first. In the end, I only let him use the shampoo as I could differentiate the artifical lab created scent in the heavily fragranced product and the pet treatment.

For some people it's not "clean" unless they can smell it. For me, the absence of smell tells me it's clean. I told him I just wanted a simple steam clean to clean the surface that the carpets are going to be replaced before the end of the year. He would not do it.

I'd have sent him packing but it was a rare sunny day for March in Seattle, and I'd already paid to put the dog in the kennel so the carpets would have time to dry. So I let him use the shampoo at $95/room.

I will do much better vetting next time I'm in the market. In the end, my four room for $99 cost me $380+tax. If I paid cash he was willing to take tax off. I told him he'd have to take plastic because I was expecting a $99 special not a $400 job.

He left his clipboard binder with me while he worked. It had all his day's receipts in it. I looked at them and it appears I'm the only one he upsold in such a manner. When he left there was a small puddle of water at the top and bottom of my stairs. I use a cane to get around. I'm glad I found them and dried them up before they took me out.

Also, buyer beware, there's a line in the paragraph below your signature line that reads "Please be advised in case of any disputes, the customer will be solely responsible for either $600 or three times the cost of labor (whichever is greater) and will be summoned by a court of law. I crossed it out and initialed it before he started the work. He signed after me without saying anything. I will not be held to this.

I called the corporate number to let them know why I was going to be leaving a negative review. I'm told the complaint department may reach out to me. That's fine.

When I went to post this review on their website it said, I got a pop up that said "Thank you. Your review has been received and will be posted soon." That made me more suspicious so I looked into them deeper and they have a BBB scam alert. I've set up alerts on my credit card. I sincerely doubt my 1 start review will get posted. So I wanted others to be aware. Avoid: https://greencarpetcleaningrus.com/

I called this company to get a price to clean carpet in 1 room. Large master bedroom
The office quoted me a price then 30 mins. prior to arrival the technician called and quoted me another price. Considerably more $. So glad they did this because I am sure they would not have done a good job anyway. Stay away from this business

The $99 duct cleaning is a scam. The man setup a machine to a vent ran it for 15 minutes then told me it was finished. I told him I still see dust everywhere. He said a deep cleaning is like $1000. I regret paying up front as soon as he setup his machine. I told him he's lucky he collected that money first because I wouldn't have paid him.

i clicked on a google ad for vent cleaning service in sacramento. greencarpetcleaningrus.com popped up as a sposored ad. at first glance it seemed legit. their website has 5 star reviews. (i now belive these reviews are fake) i set up an appointment. the tech came to my home and immediately collected the $99 fee before starting the job (i gave him $100 bill) i didnt think anything at first. but then he hooked up a vacuum to a single vent and said this has to run for 15 minutes and went outside to his car. after 15 minutes he came back and said the job is done. i said i still see dust in all the vents. i told him he didnt do anything. he told me that what i needed was a deep cleaning and that would cost $1000. i said i had my house serviced two years ago and it only cost $150. he said well you should have called them instead. then he left literally laughing at me as he left. he stole $100 dollars from me today. i tried call their customer service line and it just rings, no one picks up. so i call the appointment line and they picked up right away. when i said im trying to reach customer service she immediately hung up on me. so i went back to the website to contact them just to find out that they dont have a email address on thier website, also they dont have a street address for thier business. this website is a scam. i was ripped off for $100 dollars today. my family is having breathing problems which is why i needed my vents cleaned. this is a health issue. and i was scammed. now i have to hire a different company to clean my vents.

Green Carpet Cleaning R Us

Extremely Disappointing Experience: I scheduled a carpet cleaning service two days ago, and it was a complete letdown. The technician arrived two hours late and failed to use soap during the cleaning process. I paid $135 for a supposed steam cleaning, but there was no evidence of any steam. Instead, the technician used a small machine that required us to supply water from the kitchen faucet. I've made three calls to the company, and each time, I was told that someone from the complaint department would reach out to me, but I haven't received any contact. This has been the most unsatisfactory service I've ever received. Consequently, I contacted my bank to report a potentially fraudulent charge.

Cleaned duct vents, broke AC after satisfaction guarantee. Then would not replay to messages, discovered name was cloned by another company

I hired them for a $99 chimney inspection. The "technician" came in an unmarked minivan, took a 1 minute look up my chimney with a cell phone as a flashlight and then told me I likely need $2000 in repairs. Told him I wasn't interested and charged me $110 because of "tax." There is no tax for services in Missouri but I paid it just to get the technician out of my house.

“Basic cleaning” is a joke AND they do not provide what is offered on the website. "Basic cleaning" is just water and suction (despite the website saying that they offer "deodorizer", "commercial grade" and "green cleaning"...unless "green" means just water) with the "Basic cleaning" service. The technician that came to my house was given the burden to up-sell me - informing you THEN that the basic service is just water. I did not have the website pulled up, nor did I remember, that basic cleaning said it also, at least, came with deodorizer. I didn't need deodorizer and I did not want to pay more, so I stuck with the basic cleaning that I had scheduled. Additionally, it took the technician less time to clean our bedroom carpets than it does for me to vacuum them. It actually takes more time for the technician to set up the equipment (which is super old and clunky) than actually takes to “clean” the carpets. Their website does not post negative reviews. I submitted my review and it obviously was not posted. Its a sham, do not schedule with them.

They quoted us $6000. just to clean dryer vent and we couldn’t afford it so asked if they would just trade out our old dryer for new one. They charged us $600. for that and damaged our new dryer moving it in. They kept asking if we had more money, speaking in a foreign language around us, then abruptly left without telling us about the dryer.
We gave them $500. in cash but they insisted we give more so while I was trying to Zelle them another $100. he was looking on my phone trying to touch it to see my bank balance.
Awful experience!

I paid to have 3 rooms, a hallway and 30 steps cleaned. Once we looked at it after it dried awhile we noticed it was still dirty. The carpet is less than 3 years old and doesn’t have stains on it, the guy mentioned this before he started. He kept trying to get me to pay the higher cleaning rate and we knew we didn’t need it. The carpet also has a funny smell to it now. He also did not clean under any furniture even though my son was there to move the furniture for him. I requested a full refund from cash ap since is the payment he requested.

Do not go with this company they have SEO done well but man wish I did extra research you'd think you can Google a quick cleaning for the couch. Website said 5* I'm dumb I should have done more research DO NOT be like me. Had them come next day thought it would be great 😊 how fast and efficient after accidentally spilling coffee. Special says $69 for 3 seater. Guy came and charged me $225 so let's start there where they try to "upsell saying it's a "deep cleaning" meaning SCAM. Do not go with this company. They guy didn't even do a good job. He left water all over the floor my rug is soaked didn't even bother to move the rug and the coach came out cleanish. I mean for $225 you'd expect a star dazzling brite couch. Save your money go with another company. Also I managed to get them down to $185 so they're not stuck on their prices I'd just go with a more honest and cleaner company. The guy was pleasant so that's why I'm giving an extra star rather than 1

First they drive me crazy by non stop texting the day before and they kept changing the timing of service. Furthermore, the guy showed up at my place and started writing an invoice for $300 deep cleaning that I haven’t agreed on before he even cleans the carpet. Absolutely crazy. They need to be reported as a fraudulent business. There is no manager, no trained professionals. They r all contractors with no professional attire and no communication skills, and definitely no business conduct.
Stay away please. Don’t get fooled by the testimonials of people they paid to do that perhaps.

Called for a chimney cleaning, technician did not do the job correctly. I’ve been trying to contact the business to talk to a manager and I keep getting hung up on.

Full time scam artist. Pa state Attorney Generals office was unable to do anything. Please avoid this company at all costs. You will be disappointed. Suggest find nearest local company to do the same work unless you want to pay an extra $100 to pay these scammers to drive out from Phila to suburbs. Don't fall for the deceptive ads..

Before scheduling a cleaning, I wanted to confirm the advertised price of $99 for a general cleaning. Julia (see attached photos) had reassured as long as there is one AC unit the deal is $99 plus tax. Great! I went ahead and schedule the appointment! Unfortunately, the tech who was sent out to complete the job, while quite difficult to understand, said that the general cleaning could not be completed - we would need the deep clean at $35/vent. I immediately called the company to ask for a manager to get further explanation and why the general cleaning could not still be completed as this is the job I scheduled. The tech even admitted at a later point that it “could be” completed but not as thorough of a job, etc etc. I’m convinced they go onsite with no intention of completing the $99 deal. They rely on customers agreeing to the deep cleaning, even if the general cleaning can still be done. While I was on the phone with the customer service rep, I continued to explain that false advertising is certainly not a smart business move as the techs are on the clock and traveling to these jobs, adding transportation costs, and not even getting the job as a result. The customer service rep on the phone was taking notes as I could hear the clacking of the keyboard, although I wasn’t convinced all details were documented since she was not typing nearly as much as I was explaining. I was mid-sentence asking if these calls were recorded for the managers to refer to for further details or if they rely on notes taken prior to calling back. I did not even get this sentence out before I was hung up on. Naturally, I returned call to get the name of the individual and also get in contact with her as I was not finished speaking. This behavior is highly unprofessional. Long story short, I never reached the individual who hung up on me and never got a return call from a manager. Do not use this company. -12/10 do not recommend.

Do not use these people. They contested for Mr. Joseph Giles! He came in Saturday July 9th to clean my carpet. Upon entering my upstairs I notice a hole in my wall. I contacted Mr Giles informing him of this. At first he missed each other call. I text Mr Giles advising him that he had put a hole in my wall coming down the steps including sending a picture. I requested a refund so that I can fix my wall he damage. I’ve text and called giving a chance to fix it. He has now refused to call me. The company he contract with advise me that Mr Giles stated “he didn’t damage my wall” which is a flat out Lie. My walls in my home were not damage until he couldn’t handle that machine cleaning my stairs coming down. Unprofessional at its best because after he damage my wall he Only clean the middle section of my stairs, by the time I realize he was done he was at the corner stop sign. Gone because he knew he had damage my wall. I’m in contact now with these ppl who I sat the appointment up with but they won’t even put me with a Manager. Now I want my money back. They did a sorry job cleaning the stairs once he realize he damage my wall!

Checked my fireplace afterwards, and it wasn't even close to clean. I could pull out soot by the headful. I gave them a call, and they eventually rescheduled a recleaning. When the service technician was supposed to show up, they just instead told me it was clean, told that those pictures I provided weren't like that when they literally came three days ago, and that it was considered clean by their cleaning standards.

On 12/13/2021 between 11 and 12pm a technician came to check on my dryer vent. First he told me that the $69 advertised on their website was only for maintenance. He said for a clogged vent like mine, it was going to be $200. He then started cleaning the vent, he told me that he could vacuum afterwards because he could only use the brush and had no way to try to catch the debris coming down from the vent. I was vacuuming after him and then I started vacuuming my own house. After 10 to 15 minutes I saw him packing his stuff so I asked if he was done and he said yes, what made it suspicious is that he did not want to connect the hose from the dryer into the duct because he said that he wanted me to make sure that the outlet on the roof was properly protect from the elements. I assured him that a technician was coming to do maintenance on the AC so he then connected the hose. Before I paid him he said that if I had any issues to call him the next day but I said that I was going to do the laundry right away. When I tried to use the dryer it shut off because it was overheating so I texted the technician and told me he was coming back tomorrow. Later I changed my mind and told him that I wanted my money back so I could hire somebody else. I called the main office and complained to them and I ask for my money back, the representative via phone and an online chat told me that they had a no refund policy. That is not stated on their website and I also noticed that their website had the home depot, best buy, exxon mobil and applebee’s logos on them. I had now presented a complaint to BBB, Attorney General and also started a dispute on my bank.

I just had Jacki (guy) come out to do a dryer vent cleaning. I was told it would be $69. He gets there and says it needs a deep clean. I figured okay go ahead and do it I haven’t cleaned the vent in over 10yrs. The dude was done in 10min. Never went inside my laundry room and left a mess outside where the vent was. Don’t ever use this people they are a rip off

Hello. I had very similar experience and was charged $200 for expected $69 job. Took maybe 30 minutes at most and am crossing my fingers was done correctly. Also as you mentioned I agree seems odd there are corporate logos on their website that are not linked to anything. What was the outcome of your complaints?

I found them through an ad online. They have a coupon for dryer vent cleaning for $69 regularly $139. They said they would be to my house between 4-6 and payment would be collected through Venmo upon completion. I got a call today at 12:30 saying they'd be at the house in 40 minutes. They arrived in an unmarked van with no company logo anywhere. He didn't speak English very well. He said he'd only be able to do the interior cleaning as the exterior was too high to safely reach. This was not discussed when booking the appointment. He then told my husband that because of the drive it would be over $100 for the cleaning which was also not stated anywhere or at any point previously. Looking at their website all their reviews are 5 stars and it says Google reviewed and I can't seem to find them. I believe their website is fabricated and they are up charging people upon arrival. Their website says they are all licensed and insured and I'm not sure that's accurate.

They charged me $400 vs. $99 and then did not fix my fireplace and never called me back. They are a scam - I am sure!
