Type of a scam Online Purchase

My son bought a pet from Great Dane Territory in West Virginia. He paid for the pet and had to pay for the first shots. A few days ago they messaged him and said the dog would be ready for pickup. They told him to be at Mitchell international airport on Saturday 9-18 at noon for pickup. He went there and waited and there was no dog. He came home and a while later they apologized and said the dog would be there at 8 p.m and gave him tracking information through Happy Tails Logistics. Happy Tails logisitics then contacted my son and said he needs to have an air conditioned crate for the dog at $1300.00. My son forwarded them the money. A little while later they said they didn't have that crate available and would need one for about $2400.00. My son could not forward anymore money. They said they would hold the dog at $50.00 a day. We asked to see a picture of the dog and they would not send us one. Great dane territory also said they wanted a picture of the dog when it arrived. My son tried to contact them 4 times and they never responded. We then found out that Happy Tails logistics is a scam. The bottom line is there is no dog and my son lost alot of money. Do not ever do business with these people. They just take your money. There is not a phone number on the website and if you look it says under each dog (buy me) which is another red flag. They are scammers.
