I initially wanted to purchase a Great Dane puppy. I found the website Great Dane puppies home.com and saw that there was a good offer. The website seem legit because they had all information on how to go about shipment payments and they even had reviews. When I had contacted done they gave me a lot of information on the puppy I initially wanted to purchase. Therefore I proceeded with making the first initial payment of $750 for the puppy and a $150 additional fee for the shipping via air flight. They worshipping the puppy through expertcargoex press.com. when I received tracking information and put the tracking information in the website that even made me believe more that it was a real transaction. He was supposed to get delivered the same day on January 28th around 5 in the afternoon. The next day around 12 in the morning I received an email that he wasn't properly placed in the correct carrier necessary for shipping on an airplane. Therefore by then was asked to pay an additional $980 supposably for a shipping cargo Crate Carrier rental. I proceeded with that transaction as well as to the fact that I thought it was real due to the shipping and tracking information I received. On January 29th 2021 the dog was allegedly getting shipped at 2:20 p.m. and arriving at Bradley International Airport in Connecticut around 6:30 p.m. . When 6 came I contacted Bradley International Airport to get updates on the status of his flight and to see when he would arrive. The representative on the phone for Bradley International Airport told me there was no such thing as the tracking number that was received nor did they ever get any information about a puppy Great Dane coming in through any shipments at any time of the month. I had realized then that I was scammed. At first I had hoped maybe it was a shipping error, but then my mom contacted the same seller to see if she could purchase the same dog and they gave her the same information and sent her the same tracking number and try to have her purchase with the even higher amount of money that they made me pay. How could they have possibly tried selling the puppy when they supposedly had sold it to me already and claimed they had shipped it out to me. I would like to report both of these websites their numbers and emails so that other families do not get scammed for their money. All together I was ripped off for almost $2,000!
