There was a property advertised for rent on Rent.com. We filled out the request for information and then we got an email thanking us for our interest. They gave us an application to fill out. We sent them $3,500 via cashier check and deposited it into their account. The next day, they asked for another $3,500. We contacted the county office to find the listing agent for the property and we were told that we were scammed. Do not contact someone stating they are Dr. Bette and they are renting 15320 Marsh Creek Rd Clayton, CA 94517.
