I first got an email describing a video editor job that seemed to match what I wanted to do. The email seemed legit and everything. They told me to look at a job briefing and contact this email: [email protected]. Then, I contacted the email which contacted me back to download skype. I was already suspicious of the fact that an interview would have to be conducted during skype but I went with it cause I thought the pay was good. I started the interview and she asked me a bunch of basic questions. One of the very first tip offs was a question that wasn't related to the job at all. She asked, do you use JPG or RAWs when taking photos? I was applying to be a video editor, not a photographer. And so, I started to get suspicious. I kept playing along cause I needed to know for sure, but then she asked me for my phone, email, and address. All of the jobs I applied to had my resume with all three pieces of information. So I told her that. But then, she made up some excuse and eventually I gave her fake info. After that, she told me that she had my resume pulled up but DIDNT say that that information I gave her was false. So I told her to terminate the interview and she left me with an automated message that said that I might get a job LMAO.
