they called me and told me that I can receive a government grant all I have to do is pay them some money through gift card and so I did and they said the money was on its way and then they called me again and wanted more money and of course I gave them some more. Then supposedly a cop stop the FedEx truck that was carrying my money and he told me that they were going to come arrest me if I do not get a hold of the grants department and let them know what happened so I did and I had to give them more money that I really did not have but I did not want to go to jail. Now they calling me for some more money so they can wire transfer to my checking account and now I am $5,000 dollars in debt and I am going to lose everything I have due to all of this. So be aware and do not accept any government grant money unless they can give you an address and another phone number and website

I was called on the phone and told that I was selected and picked to receive a grant of $9,550.00 by one guy who asked and confirmed my address name age and birthday and then wanted to know what I would be using the grant money for and and I told him because I was poor did it have a car and needed to get my license back and had two children a 4 mth old and a 2 yr old and that I was a struggling mother then he said I qualified because the money would be going to and used for a good purposes to get on my feet and out poverty for me and my children he gave a information card # code and a phone number to call when I called it they first tried to get me to give them my account information to deposit it into my account but when I told them I did not have a checking account they asked me if I wanted it sent Western Union MoneyGram so I said MoneyGram at Walmart they asked me how far did I live from Walmart I told them about 30 minutes away so she told me to call her back her name was Daisy ask for her personally when I got to the Walmart parking lot before I went into the store but she informed me not to go inside of the store before I called her I asked her why I couldn't have the confirmation number now to pick the money up for when I wanted to she told me because she had to personally walk me through the steps of what I needed to do to get the money so I waited and called her back of course I did not go to Walmart I told her I was in the Walmart parking lot she proceeded to tell me that I needed to go in and purchase a State registration card of $250 that I had to pay as a one time fee that would be refunded back to me along with the $9,000 for being my first time receiving grant money she told me that Federal Bank of New York would be where my money was coming from she gave me a central code and a money tracking control number and said that would be activated after I pay that $250 fee then she told me to go ahead and inter the store I turned my TV on for voices in the background she told me to go to the prepaid cards in electronics section then another man got on the phone with me and told me to buy a Google card or something so I told him I did so he told me to take it to the self-checkout and pay for it.. I drug all of this out playing giddy and dumb and confused on which thing I was supposed to be doing first which code # did I need to use for what making him keep explaining everything knowing that it was frustrating him but yet he had to keep being nice because he thought he was fixing to get paid by scamming me!! then he asked me what did my receipt say as the amount that I paid for it I then proceeded to tell him.." well my receipt probably says $0",..since I'm not at Walmart and this is a scam and I just had to keep you on the phone long enough since I'm w/the police here and FBI is tracking your location of where you are he freaked out got extremely angry with me said I know you did you [censored] b*** and then called me a dirty selfish bitch!:D I then asked him concerningly.. What's wrong? Are you upset? Why are you so mad that I wasted your time like you did me and you couldn't scam me?? he proceeded to yell and cuss as I said okay Officer did you get all of that..YES SO IT WORKED!!"So we did get there location"!! and hung up on him while he was still screaming and cussing me!!! Probably not but just the thought of them scrambling around like little cockroaches thinking there lil telemarketing scam office is about to be busted or even the fact that it did aggravate and P'd him off that he was actually the one having his time drug out and wasted while he was the one being scammed felt like a win for all the people they have scammed and ripped off!!

I received a call earlier today from a number that I didn't recognize (253)-287-3385. The person on the phone didn't identify himself but he mentioned that he was calling from the 'Grants Department'. Caller said that because of my credit history, my good standing as a citizen, etc. I was eligible to receive a Government Grant. All I needed to do was head over to my local Walmart and send $250 via Western Union to cover the processing fee. Once I got to Western Union, I was to call another number (203-113-6642) to get the sending details. If you get a call from either of these numbers, hang up immediately.

They call saying that your# has been selected for a government grant ask your name and address then give you this # to call and a confirmation # with it in order to receive your grant. Once you call the # give your code they gave you they tell you to go to Family Dollar, Dollar General or Rite Aid and purchase a card and load it with 250.00 in order to activate your money release tracking number to get your grant monies.

The scammer buy the name of Micheal Freeman scammed me out of 750.00 the scammers call your phone an tell you they are from the federal grants department an you have been choosen for a grant in the amount of 9,000.00 that you do not have to pay back then they send you to a walmart or cvs store an have puchaseing itune gift cards in the amount of $250.00 then $500.00 then $850.00 please stop these scammers people like me work to hard for are money for scammers like this
