A female called to tell me I was entitled to federal grant money and she needed to confirm some personal info. I answered her questions about how much money I owed on cc's and if I had a mortgage, if it was current and other financial general questions. She said I qualified for grant money and she transferred me to her Senior Grant Specialist, Michael Thompson. Michael was very complimentary and trying to flirt with me throughout the conversation. He said I sounded younger than I was, and that he was my age and felt a connection. he asked if i was on face book. he said he saw someone with my same name who was an actress on the site and that was my first clue that he was deceiving me as I know for a fact that their is only 1 other person who spells their name just like me and she is not an actress, nor am i. he said there were a total of 4 foundations that I qualified to get federal grant money from...totalling $93400. I did not believe it and he spent a long time on the phone convincing me that it was legitamite. I ended up sending a photo copy of my drivers license and a credit card to pay for a "processing fee" in the amount of $4670 but was told that fee would be included in the check I would receive in 7-8 weeks for a total amt of $98070 He said I would receive a welcome package in the mail within 1 week and to follow the directions. He also said once I cashed the 98thousand dollar check I would be eligible to resubmit my name for more grant moneys. he said there would be 6-8 weekly sessions that i would have to take part in. the next day i received a friend request on face book for a Michael but with a different last name, although the pic looked like what I thought this guy would look like; and he lived in Afghanistan. it looked like a new account with no information, just a couple pics of his face......Ladies...DO NOT be scammed because a man compliments you!!!!!!!!!
