I tried to buy 4 tickets for an event publicized on the marquee of the Warner Grand Theater. I received the tickets in email and we were all set to attend on Sat 4/15. However, when we arrived at the venue, we were informed that Chaka Khan was not performing but there would be other acts so we could stay or request a refund. I immediately emailed [email protected] to request a refund and immediately put my Amex on notice that it was a fraudulent concert. They never had any intention of having her as the headline act. We reached out to Chaka Khan and were informed that it was an unauthorized event from the get go, she was never scheduled. I was able to get a refund through my Amex but in researching the G3 Real Entertainment Group, it appears this is not the first time that they did a bait and switch of this nature and I want it on the record that they are not to be trusted. They are incorporated out of Nevada, appear to be legit but this was absolutely unbelievable that they would stoop to lying about a headline act of this nature.
I've tried uploading a screen shot from the Chaka Khan PR Rep - Tammy Michele stating that it was not an authorized event but I can't seem to get that to go through.
