I received a text message from a Alicia Herold asking if this is my number. I replied "Who's this?", then I got prompted to view the job details and respond with "Yes I am" if I'm interested. I responded to the prompts, then "Alicia" told me the rest of the interview will be with their hiring manager on the "Zoom" app. The hiring manager, Bryan Roberts then proceeded with the interview with more text messages. I was informed all communications would be through Zoom and emails only. Bryan asked me a few questions and I was "hired" supposedly after without speaking with anyone through the phone nor in person. I was then emailed a check to go cash it out at any ATM to buy "equipment" at their vendors. I went to talk to my banker and the check issuer bank. Both banks told me this was a red flag for fraud. I'm disappointed I wasted so much time on this and want to file this report so that no one has to go through this. Also, after I messaged "Bryan Robert" I wanted to speak with someone on the phone about this, he went offline ever since (even though he was bothering me non-stop all week).
